Thumbs up 4 Long Weeks for engine mods

Just dropped my bike off with Frank at Dragos today. Getting a 106 kit, 580 cams, Diablo Stage 2.5 heads, and porting the throttle body. Looking forward to 105 plus hp and 120 plus torque. He is really busy. It's going to be hard to wait for 4 long weeks to get my RG back and start breaking her in. Good thing I have a back up bike it it would be unbearable. Hoping to post a nice dyno chart in early June.

That's a lot of HP and TQ for 106. Sounds like you'll have a beast when he's done.

4-weeks is a long time, but I believe it will be worth the wait.

Make sure you take advantage of the power that engine will produce.

Agree with hotrod....not a long time to wait, especially if the shop is reputable...regardless of the numbers, I'm sure you will be pleased with the results.

why did you wait so long to get the bike to him. if it was winter you wouldn't mind as muck. $ weeks isn't that long, really that's fairly fast. I had just my heads and cylinders out and it took about that long.
Go out and enjoy your other bike, the time will go by fast as long as your not setting around waiting for it.

I'm at peace with waiting 4 weeks. I've got a stratoliner to ride. I'm just stoked and can't wait to get it back. Franks's a great guy and I'm positive that he will come through with the performance and timing we agreed upon. Regarding winter vs. now, I just needed to wait for a bonus check that wasn't spoken for and I prefer for the builder to ride it a bit to dial in the dyno tune. Pretty tough to do in the winter in Rockford.

Yes. Drago's is in Rockford, IL. I also saw Cheap Trick back in the day in Indianapolis.
