Labor price question on mods

I'm in Socal, Orange County to be exact......been researching doing upgrades to my 06 Roadglide.

Looking at Fuel Motos website.....if you buy their big bore kit...they'll install it for like $700 including dyno time and tuning.

I see Dragos also has had simularly priced specials as well.

My local shop Cycle Dr in Costa Mesa....while seems nice enough and has good reviews....is quoting me like $1200.00 in labor.

With cam plate, big bore, head work, pipe, tuner etc.....hell, I'm pushing $5000 here......so every penny counts.....

My question is.....are there any "big" reputable shops in So Cal or near... like Fuel Moto, Dragos, Hillside etc? Where maybe I can get quality work AND save a couple bucks?

It sucks when all the great tuner shops on this board seem to be 2000+ miles away!
