I have had to replace the shifter shaft and toe shifter arm....my question is should I use some type of grease or lubricant on the shaft? If so what is recommend?

Thanks for any replies!!

I use a very light coat of high temp anti-seize.

Mine tends to shake around quite a bit so I use a heavy grease on mine. I think the excessive shaking is what causes the toe shifter to start stripping its teeth out.

there used to be a grease fitting , never figgered why they removed it , the secret as well is to crank the bolt down real good on the toe shifter

try some of the famous dielectric grease, it seems to work for everything else and it'll cure any electrical problems you might encounter!
