96ci Build

I've got a street glide in my garage as well. I am looking to "Beef" it up a little bit. What do you guys think the best setup for that would be? I'm looking for some well put together options that are "reliable"

Very open ended question, do you want to go bigger, do you ride 2 up, do you want more speed, more torque, how much are you looking to spend?

a tuner such as the TTS and a decent cam like the S&S 551 with a hi flow air cleaner and a good head pipe for starters

HD makes a 103 stage 2 kit which works well but you can go with a 106 or a 107 kit. The kits are a bit spendy IMO, You can call forum member PC Pain at Horny Toad HD and get good prices on the individual parts. I got a brand new set of HD 103 jugs for around $250 shipped to my door and a set of flat top pistons which includes the rings for around $250 shipped, top end gaskets kits go for around $60.
The stock heads will give you plenty of performance so you don't need to waste a lot of money on performance heads.
You can use the same cam that is in the bike and see how you like it, you can also use the same pushrods and lifters. You can alway do a cam and adjustable pushrods later on if you want.
Top ends are a easy DIY and you can do it with basic hand tools with the only specialty tools being a good torque wrench and the HD touring bike service manual and you can save a lot of cash doing it this way.

Never ride two up on my street glide...more power, speed, and its a 2010 with a 96ci.

I have heavy breather, and screaming eagle race tuner already. and changing to a 2 into one pipe. maybe thunderheader or d&d

My 107 has the 570 cams with just the 50mm tb...... runs great, I would tell you how fast but after 120 the speedo actually drops to 0 and stops working.

Looks like I'm going to go with the 107 kit and lower compression. Now I need some parts/install prices.....
