History of the compensator problems

I have a 2003 FLSTCI 88 inch with a Harley 204 cam and stage 1 air cleaner and Vance and Hines mid shots for the exhaust system with a reflash of the computer. No dyno as a trike is a bit problematic.

The bike is now 11 years old should I be concerned? Not really heard any bad noises from the primary and it has never been cracked open. Not that many miles on it, about 20K.

1982 FLT Virgin unmolested barn find.
1983 FXDG 80th Anniversary AKA Willie G Disc Glide, 10.5 to 1, Andrews B grind, 2002 Fat boy carb, Barnett Clutch, drag pipes.
2003 FLTSCI Black and Silver converted with Motor Trike Kit plus HD tour pak, 88 inch, HD 204 Cam, Vance & Hines mid shots.

Compensator issues did not start until the motors came bigger stock and I think the 6 speed came around. I had a 2002 FXDXT with 55K never one issue, same on my 02 softail that had 80K when I sold it.

The 13 is fine so far at 21K. Hopefully it stays that way.

I don't think your going to have a problem with yours, smaller motor and I'm not positive but I think the trikes got a beefier compensator.

2013 RGU, black of course....

Well it isn't a factory trike.
