Turbo / Supercharger? Which one?
I have just finished my S&S 106 build and while I am pleased with it, I think I want more. For the last 20 years, something I have built has always had a power adder of some sort. (NOS / Supercharger / Turbo) They all have their ups and downs so with this I guess I will go for looks and price.
Before, I am told to do the 124, I wanted to say that I have thought about it over and over but at this point I think I will just keep what I have and add a power adder. To do the 124' it will cost me around 8k. Most of what I have seen is the charger / turbo will cost me a little less. Under 6k unless things have changed.
So, to you guys who have one or the other, do you have any pictures? I like the Pro Charger but I am not sure I like the primary case being changed. From what I have seen it looks like they could have made a better looking design. As for the turbo, I like my Drago's exhaust and hate to change it. For one I like the balance of two pipes hanging out the back (I have the ghost pipe) .
What do you guys have and like? What are some of the down-sides to either of these? I hear the heat is killer from the turbo and the pro charger has some belt issues?
I would like to hear more. Thanks for the input guys..
