Evo Lifters

Need to replace the lifters in my 89 FLHS,got one i cant seem to get to quite down,so my question is besides S&S premium lifters (this bike doesn't get ridden much anymore) what would be a reasonable price lifter for this application.Maybe a GM part number cross over.

2012 RG Vivid Black,contrast Anarchy wheels,SE air cleaner,cobra tuner,Thunderheader ,diamond cut heads and clys,Fueling Reaper 574 cams,this is just a starting point.

87-99 small block Chevy lifters worked in my 2011. I went with crane. Not sure if that is what is causing my ticking noise.

2011 Road Glide Ultra, Andrews 57H, VeeTwin Performance street port, Big Sucker Intake, Rhinehart 2/1 w 4" muffler, Power commander V, Paugcho 17" bars, Stock seat recovered with leather, Michelin Comander II 140/80B front, Yokohama Envigor 205/60/16 rear. It's better on the dark side.

Comp cams( V Thunder), makes a good Evo replacement lifter. Pretty reasonably priced as well. The small block Chevy lifters noted above will work in a TC, but not an Evo. Totally different lifter. I don't knw if there is a GM lifter that work in an Evo.

The price of an S&S lifter is soon forgotten when the long-life and quiet operation goes on and on.
Anyone can use any mixed/matched, pieces/parts as they see fit, no doubt, but we use S&S valvetrain products here on a daily basis, knowing, that we are providing our folks with top quality products.
