8 mm plug wires

I read somewhere if you use 8mm spark plug wires it would increase you hp by 3 to 5 hp is this true

Performed a battery of plug, and plug wire dyno testing years ago just to see for ourselves if this was hype or fact, and what our clients could see benefits from.
Actually some had less than the OE wire, but in fact NGK plugs showed up as a shining star.
Short answer to your question..........No.
