Hot clutch cover
Over the last year or so, I have been working on powering up my engine. The end result is I no longer have the heat off the exhaust like I used to with the Cat headers. But I now am noticing that the clutch cover is getting really hot on longer rides. Not quite understanding why. Clutch is not slipping that I can tell, and I thought that oil was separate from the motor oil. So why is it getting so hot? Guess I never noticed it before with all the heat issues. Now that those are cleared up, I find this issue. Can someone explain why? Good thing I always ride with tall boots on.
Illegitimus non carburundum. Or something to that effect. Jack of all trades, master of none.
