Reaper 525 question

I have this can, and I am happy with it, but was wondering if anyone knows if this cam likes high compression? I have been kicking around going to 10.5:1 but I wanna be sure that I don't have to swap cams.

Call Luke at Feuling, he'll let you know what that cam likes. I have the 574, once I bumped my compression to 10.5 and added ported heads, the cam really came alive

X2 on calling Luke. Don't be afraid of adding compression.

the .525`s arnt going to like 10.5-1 at all(hard starting, detionation, overheating),their set for stock,or slighly higher than stock compression.if you want to stay with reaper cams, the .574`s would be a better choice with that compression.the S&S .585`s dont hit as low as the 525 or 574 cams, but @ 10.5-1,they`ed be my choice

Talked to Luke at Fueling. He said the 525 would respond well and increase my tq and make it come in sooner. Looks like I now have another project, lol!
