Max compression for TW-222 cams

I've pretty much decided on the TW-222 cams, now I'm thinking do I just drop them in my stock 103 or do I upgrade to a 107?

Does anyone have any experience with the TW-222 cams in a 107? If so, what is your compression set at? I'm thinking I'm using one of the 107 kits that would be 10.25:1. Would this work or would this be too much compression for the TW-222 cams?

I believe that I would call Woods, and ask the man who designed the cam.

They have a dyno on a 107 with the TW-222. I believe it will work for ya! I have the 222's in the 103" and they worked great!

they`ll work good in the stock 103",but 10.25-1 is too much compression for the 222 cam,stay around 9.6-1.we`ve set alot of our 107" kits to below 10.0-1.just have your guy open the chamber a bit.if your going to stay with woods cams & 10.25-1,go with the TW 6-6

Having worked with almost ALL of Wood cams(including his .750" lift versions) in many engine sizes/cam configurations from street-driven Shovels up to 98", Evo XL's up to 88", Evo's to 124" and T/C's to 145", and have been using those cams at one time almost exclusively since the mid-1990's, the 34 degree intake closing of that 222 would warrant maximum compression on a touring machine of at/very near 9.85.
You'd be at/near the mid-190's ccp with that.
