Is there a replacement tranny dipstick available that can be more easily read?
The stock is shiny fake chrome and is impossible for me to see oil on.

Not sure about any easier to read, but Harley makes one that doesnt require an allen.

I doubt it's fake Cr, just not polished before plating. Lay the against a piece of paper, cig butt, or your finger to get a gauge of the level. Sprinkle flour over it to see. Your'll figure it out. follow the manual on checking threaded in or not an the bike upright.

I got your bird

Try some Spectro Platinum or RedLine Trans Lube. Either one will be easier to see because they are red and you will like the way your trans sounds and shifts afterward.

Change your oil to Red line Shook proof. Its red and easily seen on stick.

I prefer the heavy duty RL Shock proof gear oil over the RL trans oil. Jmo
