How hot is your garage? Make sure your vent tube isn't clogged. Shouldn't be any pressure in the tank

I have a strong "off gas" smell as I call it...I just attributed it to storing a hot bike in a closed garage (I always shut rhw door as soon as I ride in). ...I kinda like the smell....but hey that's just me :-D

gas smell

My 2011 has the same issue when the tank is less than half full. Annoying.

I have noticed my gas smell is a lot less if I immediately shut the bike down while coming in the garage. If I let it run for just a few seconds the fumes can get real bad.

thanks for the help !
Checked my vent line it was compressed under the mounting bracket
for the tank I think that is the answer ,when I powder coated dash black I must of missed that the vent was under it it should be on the side .
