I would suggest that you talk to the guy (builder) that is going to put this engine together. The builder must provide input on your cases, heads, cam, exhaust, etc., etc. Of course he will also have to dyno/tune it. As you are well aware, the builder should have extensive experience in this level of build.
He should also do the same for the trans and clutch. Looks over your suspension and rear drive belt needs.
The big thing is he must guarantee it for a few miles, or feet after you leave the shop.
