I'm thinking 07 was the swap to hydraulic.

07' in the touring bikes and 06' in the dyna's. The hydraulic cam plate came with the 96" engine so if it is an 88" engine you know it came with the spring loaded tensioners.

I'm not sure if RGKen is correct about the spring loaded tensioners in all of the 88" motors. I'm pretty sure that the '06 Wide glide had the 6 speed trans with the 88" motor and hydraulic tensioners. I could also be wrong. I don't see any badging on my son's '06 WG to indicate engine size, but all this time I've thought it was an TC88.
Dunno.

this bike is an 88 and I looked on the parts list and the tensioners are -99's where the newer bikes are -06 , so it is the old style unless someone changed it , which i doubt , only 24000 on the bike ..
