574 Reapers

Who's running them , either gonna be those or S&S 570 , looks like they come on a good bit earlier than 570's .. Almost sacrilege to put something aside from S&S in there , been keeping them afloat for many years

Lol! I know your love for S&S Jack but don't let that keep you from being open to the possibilities of other companies making something as good or maybe even better than S&S. They are no longer the end all that they might have been. Plenty of great options out there now. Not bashing S&S but just saying many have caught up to them and are great as well. S&S seems to be showing signs of minor issues with some of their mass produced parts though like lifters. Those Reaper Cams are a great choice and some would actually prefer them over the S&S because like you say they come on earlier. Either choice is good and would put a smile on your face.

570 comes in easy start , don't know if the feuling has something like that .. I have ACR's , stock heads , 11's are 9.8 CR I believe ..

Someone here offered me a deal on some 255's a while back , but don't remember who it was ...

Was gonna do cams last winter , but the charging system went south on the Kentucky trip , so that was my winter project ..

Gonna swap out the cam bearings and lifters as well .. and rockr locs if I remember .. S&S kit with the bearings and gaskets is a fair bit less than the feulings cams only ... And hope the runout isn't bad , hate to have to add oil pump and cam plate .. But alas S&S to the rescue if needed ..

I bought my 2010 RG with the S&S 106 big bore and 570 cams. You are correct they don't kick in until roughly 3000 rpm. If I ever replace them it will be with something that pulls from low 2000 rpm range.

What size motor? 103's the "Hot" cam now is the cyclerama CR570-2. Dyno sheets all over on the tech forum. Call Sheffer Performance and talk to Darren. He steered me the right way with my cam choice.
Cheaper not to buy a kit but buy parts separate, deals can be had that way.

Jack, One major thing to consider is the exhaust you are using. Just because you find a dyno sheet that shows certain numbers with one type of exhaust doesn't mean it's the best choice for your exhaust and there might be a better cam choice for your exhaust setup. Sometimes the difference is small but other times is significant.
