Twin Cam Build Questions

Howdy all again,

I have a 2015 CVO RGU that I just did a 117" kit on. Of course things didn't go quite like I had hoped so I am now going to be doing some extra work to it.
This kit comes with a SE259e cam as part of the kit. Why HD offers this kit with this cam is beyond most since the kit has a CR of 9.9:1 and this cam likes a CR of 10.5:1 or higher.

So to fix this during the winter I am going to pull the heads and jugs off and am taking them over to HD Performance in Edgewood, WA to have the heads P&P and the jugs trimmed to bump my CR up to around 10.6:1.
So my questions are while I have the top end torn down is there anything else I want to do to it? Things like Roller Rockers? Or Forged Rocker Supports? I'm also getting new valve springs installed to get rid of the stiff stock CVO springs. I'll most likely also replace the SE lifters with someone else's while I have things apart.

So let's hear it? What else would you do?

Roller Rockers are good if you really wind her up , get either S&S or Feuling lifters ..

Beehive springs... I should have, but didnt at this time...

I just lost my 259E cams with standard HD lifters in my 120 ST. A lifter roller went south and wiped out the cams...

I went with TW408-6 as replacements with tapered pushrods and S&S lifters and while in there I put in a billet cam plate and high volume oil pump.

From the 259E to the 408-6 numbers went up slightly

From 124hp/129tq to 126hp/133tq

It's a noisy cam for sure, but when I go back in, I will be changing out the valve springs....

If you are getting head work done, just do it

Well I can honestly say I don't normally ride much above about 4500 rpm unless I am really ripping on it and that is only a few times. So it doesn't sound like there is much I need to do to the top end other than what is already being done. Which is fine with me but it doesn't hurt to ask.

With this only being my 2nd HD I've done any engine work to I'm still learning. Yes the lifters with be replaced and then it just comes down to funds as to what else I do. I'm trying to not break the bank with these mods. I'm sure at some point I'll do the cam plate and oil pump. And when I win the Lotto I'll do a S&S crank.....
