I have about 19,000 on my 2018 and don't seem to have the transfer issue. I do have another issue though. Really rough on cold start. Dealer has had it for over a week and last I heard they were ordering oil pump, lifters and possibly cam chain tensioners. They gave me my old bike a loaner.
sorry i didn't see this post earlier. that's why i asked about the cold start issue.
mine's been at the dealer's for 2 weeks now.
oil pump, cam & case bearing, lifters, pushrods, pistons, cylinders and an entire new head assy.
it started ticking loudly at around 14K miles and got progressively worse. 18K when i took it in.
they kept it overnight and started it up in the morning while i was there.
the lifter on the front exhaust and the corresponding cam lobe were lightly scored.
so glad i didn't modify the engine now. the dealer really stepped up on this big time.
