I've got a 2017 RG special that started leaking oil from the front upper cylinder head with 12k miles any thoughts on cause. Looks like teardown and inspection are in order. Please advise.
I have had 3 stock 107s in the last 3 months with bad front head gaskets. They were all 2017s and all oil cooled. I think it was a bad batch of gaskets more than anything. The ones I have torn down, nothing abnormal was found and nothing was damaged. (Other than the bad head gasket) Haven’t seen it be an issue on very late production 17s or any newer ones.
