A Couple GoPro ??'s

1) the book says you can record while charging , how do you attach the camera to a mount ?? cause it sure aint gonna plug in with the plastic housing on the camera ..

2) how long is the battery life ?

with a 32GB card I get the following record times :

1080-30 4:24

960-30 5:17

720-60 4:27

720-30 6:32

WVGA-60 8:02

will the battery run video for 4-8 hrs ??

Nope the best you will get is about 3.5 hours. If you have an LCD back attached its shorter. I carry 3 batteries, I just bought a WIFI remote/back so I can stop/start GoPro camera without stopping and getting off the bike, hopefully this will extend time between battery changes.

They also have an android app that you can connect Bluetooth to stop and start recording and change settings.

You can buy a housing that has holes in the side to allow you to plug in power cord.. You lose the whole waterproof feature, but you can mount it.

FYI its not Bluetooth its WiFi... the GoPro creates an adhoc network which enables a Smart phone to control it
