GoPro Hero+ Black edition

Hey sharks, recently purchased a Gorp here at bike week here in phoenix since they were running at a discount, got a Flex Jaw arm as well for it and man is it awesome!

Took it here to bike night at westgate here just this very night and all the pictures i took seemed a bit fuzzy though! Anyone have any experience tinkering with the settings to get quality shots and video? Or mounting preferences to make them less wobbly? I mean, bike shakes a LOT hahaha all that power right? Yeaa helmet mount would be an option if i wore a full face, i wear a german half can if one at all. Anyway, ! Figured i'd ask seasoned Gopro guys here on the same bike!

Stick it to the front of your helmet so it isn't above the helmet. Anywhere else on the bike is too shaky. Set it to 1080p, 30 frames per second. You only need the higher frame rate if you are doing slow motion stuff. For youtube, 30 fps is all they can do anyways, so if you use 30fps, you can get twice as much video as 60fps which does nothing but waste space. Get some spare batteries, don't bother with the LCD display. I use 32GB Sandisk Ultra microSD cards. I've posted some videos in the "Videos" section. Hope this helps!

What Rambo said. I think helmet mount works best. Put it low and test the view before u take off. I have some vids in the video section too, if u wanna check em out and see how mine is mounted.

I got one for christmas,I use the helmet mount. You can add the GOPRO app for your phone and use the wifi to see what the camra sees same time. I will be posting a ride after tomorrow with the Bozzefighter Boobies run in Huntsville AL.

Oh! Found the Videos section, thanks a lot guys! I'll have to get a new helmet and stick it on there to try then, my german half can has a lot of bug grease and dings in it from debris hahaha

Great videos by the way, and thanks for the tech tips!

I mount my GoPro Hero HD on the dashboard above the radio with an arm coming back to clear the windshield. It does pretty well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IsgGa5wXODA

Don't need a full face for it, I mounted mine on my 1/2cap. Rubbing alcohol gets rid of the greasy spots I use a piece of paracord (running from cam frame to helmet strap )as a safety strap in case the mount somehow fails.

I have switched to helmet top mount and it is much smoother than the dash mount. I just stuck one of the bases on the back edge of the dash and used a couple arm pieces to get clearance from the RGU stock windshield - but it was very close to the windshield and sometimes it would hit it if I didn't aim up enough, leaving a mark on the windshield. I tried longer arms and that multiplies the vibration of the GoPro.

I have a 5 year old GoPro Hero HD and it still works like new. Impressive quality - sometimes you do get what you pay for!

Rambo is right. I put mine on the front rack of my ATV and 50+MPH over rocks the size of bowling balls and riding with 2 wheels on railroad ties didn't have any effect of the picture quality. Everything came out crystal clear.
Good luck
