Thanks for all the replies.... I probably wouldn't have forced it as much as I did without these posts.
Happy to report that I was able to get them on by removing the fairing support brackets, but it wasn't easy OR pretty. Not really happy that they touch the fairing, but what can you do. I still have to wire the speakers, but that will be done when take the fairing off to change headlights, add hidden antenna, and add an aux outlets in the glove box.
First time in a LONG time that I finished a project and had a handful of extra parts/hardware. Since they came with no instructions, and I started before the maker emailed them and before I could find anything written online, I have no idea what the two 1/2" red rubber spacers are for, or the extra 4-6 pointed screws and random washers...but I'm not too concerned. The fairing brackets and everything else metal-to-metal went back on with locktite, and I'm looking forward to taking a test ride tomorrow. I'm guessing I won't notice much of a difference with them closed compared to the soft lowers and GADS deflectors I removed, but am curious how the airflow will be when open.
Thanks again, gang.
