Gopro camera mounting

Hi I would like to attach a gopro camera on the front of my road glide. Have any of you done that? If so how and where did you attach it? I would like to mount it on the bike not my helmet. Thanks John

I had a Ram mount three hole base mounted to the underside of the lower triple tree before I put the monotubes in. It had a twenty twenty camera on it. Maybe the roll bar mount would work on the outside fork leg. I'm particular where I clamp or mount anything as most are. Good luck

Before I mounted mine on my helmet, I had pretty good views from the engine guard and side of saddlebags.

Most folks mount them to the crash bar. I have a mount there for my drift but also one on the handle bars above the clutch.

I have mounted on the engine guard in the past. You will get a view of your front wheel and underside of your fairing along with the road in front of you. Not a bad view, but it is fixed. I also don't like the idea of mounting to helmet, but I think having it look where I do would be nice. I plan on giving a helmet mount a try. I am headed to Sturgis this year and would like to get some nice videos.

I mostly use a helmet mount becuse its easier to get to the buttons yet still gets a good view past the fairing. It helps that I'm tall. Although at speed it catches the wind an buffets my noggin around a bit too muh.

I've gotten too much vibration when I stick it to the fairing, but some nice shots when I use the high-speed suction mount on the side of the front fender. I haven't tried the crash bar.

I see Harley dealers carrying GoPro cameras and mount set ups. Might have to get one for my next ride over Blue Ridge parkway in May

I use the suction cup mount where ever I feel like (fairing, side of bag, top of bag, top of tour pack) and use a velcro strap to mount the wifi remote to my bars.

I've used the "sucker" attachment right on the front fairing and also on the top of the saddlebag with no issues. Put on correctly it would take a lot to have it fall off. I recently bought an articulated arm with a heavy duty jaws type clamp but have not had a chance to use it.
