Go Pro Camera Problems

I got the Go Pro White camera and been having a few problems with it and I was wondering if anyone else has this problem.
When I use the USB cord to access the pics/videos or just to charge the battery the camera will not turn on or it will not charge if it is turned off.
When just plugging in the camera the light will come on then turn off and the camera will not function at all, the camera won't even turn on. If I turn the camera on first then plug in the USB cord the camera will turn off and will not turn on.
I have to pull the battery out then put it back in and then the camera will function as it should, this has happened more then one time.

Im sure you have pics and videos on it that you may lose but is there a reset button to maybe reboot the camera? Email or call gopro to see what they say

I have never had any issues with my GoPro 2.
If I were you I would get in touch with GoPro for sure.
I'm sure they offer good customer service and can advise you on a good fix.
