I've seen other people have issues with this company so I thought I would share my expierence as well.

I'm building a custom Heritage bagger and contacted Bagger Bags and placed my order for stretched saddlebags. Excited as hell to get them, mock up the placement then send off for paint. Boy was I disappointed when they arrived 10 days later.

The bags were pure crap, totally un-useable and extremely poor quality. They claim to be made in the USA...highly doubtful. Looks worse than Chinese made.

I immediately called the owner, Derek Zeledon and told him I want a refund.....here is his response via email.

Hello steve, we apologize for the inconvenience that the bags have placed you in. We apologize for the kit but if possible we would like to correct it by sending you another kit and we will do the body work to it, now if you would like a refund you would just need to send back to us and the refund will be applied

I told him I seriously doubt another set would be acceptable since the first set they sent out had absolutely no quality control and I believe the 2nd set would be the same. He agreed to refund my money two weeks ago but of course that has never happened.

Their return policy states 7 days to return the item and a authorization code issued by them is the only way to return an item. I asked for this code in a phone call and email and was never given one. This is how they skate around a refund.

I took it upon myself to send them back at my expense with a signed delivery notification which was signed by one of their employees.

So here we are two weeks later and phone call and emails go unanswered. Now I'm looking at this as a lesson learned and felt I need to warn other people about Bagger Bags, Inc.

The items they are selling is pure crap, no customer service and no warrantee of their product. Do you want to deal with a business like this?

10/4 you are right about that one! Courts will help you place a lien on bank accounts, ect after 30-45 days after judgments if it's not satisfied. If it's a shady company then they already know how to evade you. If not then they usually just pay the judgement and be done with it.

Overall I guess small claims is a last ditch effort if all else fails cuz its such a pain in the ass process, but hey that's America!!>:)

I wish I would have read this before getting caught in the same trap. I have never seen such a crappie product in all my life, the money I would have to spend in prep work would cost me more then the product. I am waiting for my RMS labels now, he sent me one and then I asked if that covered both boxes ( forgot to mention after 2 weeks of waiting, they left out side covers and dash) he says oh you have 2 boxes? What quality control and a clue with a business.

Thought I was on the road to recovery (I really don?t want to bore you with my 3 year build from what I thought was a friend, still can?t ride after all this time) all I want to do isn?t ride.

Now it?s back to looking at kits and hope I can get something that at least won?t drain the pocket in prep work.

If any of you know of someone selling a full body kit tank cover, dash side covers, rear fender, bags and lids please let me know.

G3 - aftermarket bags, tank covers, fenders, lids etc. are a real crap shoot. You can get really lucky (like @Swomack) did with his Mutazu bags, or you can be a total loser (like me) and go through three different attempts to get stuff you're proud to own. In the end I bit the bullet and bought TopShop stuff painted by The Factory Match. If you are critical about the appearance of parts you put on your ride, do it right the first time (or the 2nd at the very least).

TopShop parts are pricey, but they are outstanding quality. My wife threatened me with divorce when she found out I paid $1300 for a set of extended bags, but once she saw them (and knew I'd finally quit complaining) she saw the "value" in my last purchase.

Appreciate your post - no doubt you've save a few of us some dollars.........

I bought from them for my SG. They weren't as bad as those, but the inside was horrible. I've never seen such crappy work. None of the marked holes were even close, and the lids had to be shimmed to close right.
I went with Bad Dad for the shark. Paint match is perfect, and they bolted right on.
Expensive, but well worth it in my opinion.

When I was shopping around for a rear package kit, I was looking at them as well, I called and talked to a rep and asked some basic questions regarding the shipped product and when he stated that my paint and body guy would have to do some work to them, I knew something was sketchy about their product. I asked a guy I know who has built a couple of bikes and he said run from their products. I ended up purchasing a rear package through SCRUB Cycles (Wake Kit), ship product was ready for paint, bolt on ready. Though there were a few chips along the edges and bottom corners, their customer service is very good and they will take care of you the customer if there is an issue upon receipt of product.

Since Mutazu was brought up twice in this thread about crap products.....I'll throw in my two cents. Mutazu products have been bought and installed on a LOT of bikes on this forum. They are really decent products at a decent price that is WAY cheaper than the high end stuff. And if your bike is black? The paint is just fine for a rider.

I've seen some that were unhappy and sent them back for blemishes in the paint etc......but I've never heard a word about ANY issues with customer service or refunds etc AND they give a addl discount if you mention roadglide.org.

I have bag extensions and have had a king tourpack and they all looked terrific.

Going through the same thing here. Bought a Facebook kit for $1079 and added the tank shrouds and speaker lids for a total of just over $1400...was suppose to be a 6 in down and out kit...what I recieved was not even close to what I ordered....got a 5 inch bags non-lighted fender. No side covers and no tank shrouds... they were quick on sending me the return slip. But after that it's been a frustrating month of trying to get my order. Everytime I call if they answer the 13 or 14 times. Usually I'll use a friends cell phone and that gets an answer but once the ask for a name...the excuses come out...I been told it takes 2 to 4 weeks to be made..but funny i got the wrong order delivered with in 5 days. And then told by I'm assuming is Derrek. That it will be sent out before Monday April 30th... and everytime you have to tell them what I ordered. I call every day everyday it's always a different answer...the best was yesterday April 7th ,the women told me it will be sent out by 430 on their FedEx run...I called today for a tracking number. She said it's still in production. I asked for a refund...was told I had to send an email...email requesting a refund...was replied that the were completed production and were in the mockup stage and will be a week longer....this is beyond ridiculous...oh by the way...I was told...if I pay 20% of my cost I can jump in front of the line...talk about balls...like I'm going to pay more for a mistake they made....so if anyone knows this guy....pass this message on to him and anyone else

I to had a crap experience with these guys last year. Thought to myself what a great deal for fender, ext bags and pizza style tour pak. I placed my order and after 6 weeks didn't get anything. No response to emails or calls. Finally get a hold of someone on probably week 7 and told them to refund my money. As I'm on the phone my email alert goes off. Item shipped. He gave me some run around how it was shipped a week before etc. so I just let it go giving them the benefit. The tour pak didn't remotely fit together correctly, the top of the bags were out of shape and no holes drilled, the fender looked like someone attempted to install it already and the lights fell out when I took it out of the box. Of course I called and was hung up on a few times. At this point it had been 8 weeks if not more. Finally get through and the guy says send them back at your expense and if you want us to drill holes etc it will cost more and if you don't want them at all it would be a 20% restock fee (for what? To throw them in the trash?). I gave him a ear full and just ate it since it had been over 8 weeks and even my credit card company gave me a hard time. They constantly change and advertise on Facebook under different names, they delete any negative comment within minutes to hours of it being posted. Bagger Bags...Bags & Lights for Baggers. The pictures they show are bs, stock pictures of other bikes and a lot of the time its the same bikes in a different place. The shop they have in Florida might be ok but man the online experience they give is pure bs. They are a waste of time, money and one of my worst ever buying experiences ever online. Well these items have been sitting in my shed now for over a year, I've even taken them to a couple swap meets and said I would sell the whole set for $200. No luck obviously, lol.

Wow, sorry the OP and others have had to go thru bs like this. Those pics posted would have sent me thru the roof.
Many years ago while building a truck I ordered some $550 taillights, received them and they were shit. Same story has what has been posted, but was always promised to make it right. Me being a dumbass let it drag on for 6 months.....
That's the key, after 6 months my credit card company told me to pound sand. That was a life lesson ;)
If it's not right stay on their ass and ofcourse, you get what you pay for 99.9% of the time

Wish I would have done soon research on bagger bags before I bought through them.
I bought their road glide fiberglass fairing. Their add said they had one in stock, yet when I ordered I was informed that the would have to make it. Was informed it would be done and shipped to me within 2 weeks. This did not happen. When I would call back to check on the status I was informed it was still in production.
On June 3, I called and was informed that it was still in production at this time I informed them that they were a week past the agreed upon delivery date and that I wanted to cancel my order and I wanted a refund of the monies I paid. I informed them that I understood that there would be a restocking fee and I agreed to a 20% fee for this.
I was informed then that this was what was happening.
Then on June 4, the day after I canceled the order, they send out the order. How was the part in production the day before and then ready for shipment the next?
Not only this, but this is by far the worst product I have ever seen. Does not even come close to their add description of the product.

I don't normally dig up old threads but I also don't think there is a ton to gain from starting a new one. But hoping that by updating this thread, it will more readily pop up in someone else's search.

I am not too proud to admit that I am yet another individual that got shafted by BaggerBags or BoltOnBaggers or Bagger Bags LLC.
Ordered one of their "daymaker" lights for my upcoming conversion project mainly due to price (I know I should know better) and when it arrived, low and behold it didn't fit properly, lacked all the necessary mounting tabs, tabs that were present were ready to snap off and wiring looked like my one year old put it together. I read their return policy before ordering and new I only had seven days so I started the process of getting return authorization right away the same day I received it. 26 emails and nearly 3 dozen photos sent and they still want more photos. They won't give me an authorization number because I am not complying with their requests. Some of their emails have been berating (not a huge issue for me as I have relatively thick skin), all correspondence ends at about 9:45 am and won't resume until the following day.
In addition to responding their emails, I have submitted a complaint through BBB (unlikely to affect anything as there are about 100 unanswered complaints), and lastly I contacted my CC company and they are helping me out now.

Not looking for sympathy from the group here, I'm an adult and should know better to do proper research, but wanted to make sure there was further warning out here for other members to avoid doing business with Bagger Bags.

Keep posting pictures of this companies junk that they are pedaling.

Sorry to those that had money stolen from them.

Always include the full name of the company and the full name of the person you were dealing with or the owners name in your post so it is viewed long into the future.

Those parts look like total junk.

I'll get some better pictures displaying the lack of quality in the headlamp I received.

Last night I got yet another email from them asking for more/different pictures and wondering whether I understood that this was not an OEM product and does not mount like OEM.

All I can say is I'm glad my CC company is backing me on this one. Not huge dollars but enough to be frustrating.

This is terrible, I hope this thread stays active so nobody has to go through this. I tried going to their website just to see if they are still in business or what not and immediately the servers flagged the page with viruses detected so I couldn't proceed.
