After Market Wheels and Rotors

New to the forum I own a 15 RGS recently I noticed bad vibration from my from end when front brake is applied! took it in for a regular service and mentioned this to the service writer he said no problem we will check it out. Couple days go by and I get a call from harley stating my rotors are beyond warped..... So my first response was ok warranty will take care of this right? they said NO due to the rotors being aftermarket! I purchased the bike from a different harley dealer with all the aftermarket wheels and rotors installed brand new! I purchased the ESP warranty for the wheels and tires showed them the proof still got nowhere. I called the harley dealer where I purchased the bike and the service manager said the factory warranty on the rotors had expired 2 weeks prior. So what happens now just wondering if you all had any experience in any of this the rotors came from custom chrome..... Pretty upset I have a bad ass bike and cant enjoy due to this thanks in advance any suggestions or comments are appreciated...

That is pretty crappy for the dealer you purchased the bike from to say. Still, I'm sure the fine print in the wheel and tire policy states it will only work on OEM parts. Unfortunately, custom chrome is a distributer and some of the parts available are not the highest quality. They are also not the easiest to work with for a dealer. I would talk to the service manager at the dealer to bought the bike from and express your displeasure at being sold a warranty that doesn't apply to your machine. Maybe you can go up the chain and can get some movement.

If it was me i would also inform the dealer where you purchased this Bike from that i would have NO choice but to BLAST them online on every Harley site im on & FACEBOOK to let everyone know they DONT stand behind these products installed on the bike SO BEWARE , No one wants to get blasted online specially a dealer

Dont talk about it, Be about it !!!
