Road Glide Fairing Pouch - Problems

WARNING -
I bought this fairing pouch for my 2016 RGU in August 2017. After a few weeks on the bike I could see a build up of dirt and debris caught between the windshield and the top surface of the fairing pouch. I couldn't clean it out with water hose or air. When I took the windshield off to clean it, the pouch stuck to the windshield. After a bit of careful prying it away from the windshield the pouch material tore away in one place leaving a ragged hole in the top surface of the pouch and material stuck to the windshield. The residual material stuck to the windshield only came off in fragments, leaving a smudge on the inside of the windshield. Other problems that came up with the pouch are the magnets that hold the flap shut. They will separate from their mounts and magnetically stick to the moving flap part. This will leave the flap to open on its own. Also, the material in the center, facing the rider where the HD logo is, comes loose from the underlaying material and bulges out.
This item looks nice in the marketing picture, but functionally doesn't work well for maintenance nor does it hold up to the environment of late summer temps in Virginia. My bike is garaged at night but I park it outdoors at work.
I took the Fairing Pouch back to the Harley Dealer that I bought it from today. The pouch is warrantied for 30 days. It was about a week beyond warranty expiration when I tried to remove it from the windshield and the material tore away. The dealer said he couldn't replace it because I did the damage to it, but would forward it on to HD for warranty replacement or refund. The picture shows the damage that the pouch did to my windshield with the smudge that doesn't come off with normal cleaning solution. I didn't use abrasive out of concern of damaging the windshield.

Update on this issue.
I got a call from the dealer that I took the fairing pouch back to. HD will cover the warranty of the pouch and refund my money.

There's a guy here in town that got one with his '17 RG Ultra. It came apart sitting in his garage. Seams just separated where glued together. Pretty shoddy and not cheap (to buy)...

I got my current bike used & it had this pouch. I like it but I do think the quality is pretty poor. Mine was coming apart on the side. My wife glued together w a glue gun & it's held fairly well, but if you look closely it's definitely showing wear. I keep mine garaged. 15 model w 19k miles on it.

so what your saying is the pouch can be used, but should be removed after the ride to prevent the issue ?

should use rubbing alcohol to remove the smudges.

the pic of the pouch you show looks nice.
