Jim Nasi Dash

Anyone running this? If you are. Which pop up gas cap are you using?

I have been thinking about one of these too. That is a good price. When I looked I think they were about $180.

There's one on Amazon for 179.00. But it's from Kuryakin. So I know it's a real one. This off the wall seller? Who knows... I have no problem spending more. I already ordered the Jim Nasi pop up cap in chrome. I want to have a contrast. Not just black.

That's a good looking dash. My inner fairing outs gloss black. Bike is black quartz. So I figured the gloss black dash with a chrome cap as an accent would look good.

I just ordered the one Kury sells. It was 179.00. But I think I'm safer as far as fit and finish. I ordered the chrome pop up gas cap from Jim Nasi so I know it's what was used as a matched set if I spent the 199.99 and ordered the dash from him.

And it's scratched and has 2 blem lines like it had tape on it. Really?!

I emailed the seller but I'm going to take it to the body shop. See if he can fix it up for me.

I have been looking a little closer at some of these. Some are ABS. What is the one you got made of?

So is it made out of cast aluminum or ABS plastic?

If it's made out of ABS plastic, I think I would keep the factory dash

If it is made out of cast aluminum, and painted gloss black, I think you got a winner.

It's cast aluminum painted black. Winner winner. That's why I spent the extra cash.

The company I bought it from is arranging UPS pick up. My Chrome Jim Nasi cap will be here Friday. Glad it's winter.
