Quality of chrome accessories

So I have been looking at adding a tourpack and getting it done right away. I have been looking around and actually looks like the hd tourpack is not that much more than an advanblack tour pack once the extra 175 is added to color match. My question comes down to the docking hardware and quick tach brackets. There is every brand out there and I am sure alot of no names on eBay. But has anyone had bad luck with quality of chrome or what are the better brands for aftermarket brackets? I am new to Harley so wanting to know what to stay away from. Also are there fitment problems with certain brands?

If you buy HD there shouldn't be any fitment issues. I never had any issues with the chrome on HD parts and accessories.

I bought this to mount my el cheapo tour pack with, chrome on it is fine, can't tell any difference from HD branded stuff. Fits ok to HD docking hardware, kinda tight:

Here is the el cheapo tour pack, in case anyone is interested. Much written about it on this forum:

I am not to worried about he chrome quality or fitment. More curious about other aftermarket companies out there. I will probably do the he docking setup, just more curious in quality of other brands interchanging with them. I just didn't know if there was brands to steer clear of. Pricing the tourpak through board tracker and price seems close enough that it is not worth going aftermarket. Looking at some klockwerkz accessories in general, which I am not worried about as far as quality. Thanks for the input so far.

I've purchased a number of no name knockoff farkles for my RGS. Sometimes there's a flaw in the chrome prep. (Small pit, faulty polishing, etc.) Overall, quality is close enough for a rider, and disappears upon installation. If I had paid stupid $$ for a trinket, I'd probably feel different.
