Since I am disabled Rider I had that unit installed. It didnt work out for me. Since I dont have the use of my legs, I had to rely on it to completely hold me up at stops. Anyhow, the unit/system could NOT hold up the entire weight of the bike and WILL COLLAPSE. It uses a pneumatic air actuator. It comes down quick but if you were leaning as you were coming to a stop, it will not right you up. It can not handle the weight. Its just an "assist"system if you're still able to put your foot down when you come up to a stop. A few times I fell over with the system deployed. 1 on the road (not good) and pulling into my garage. Also, it mounts to the passenger floorboard. And since it mounts there, from watching 'able-bodied' trying to walk the bike backwards/reversing. It was impossible. It could be done but a hindrance.
I ended up installing a tilting motorwork system and couldnt be happier.
If you still want to try the "Leg-UP" system, I'll sell you the one I pulled off my bike..cheap
