Oil cooler and voltage regulator covers.

Just purchased oil cooler and voltage regulator covers. I like it a lot better than the cheap looking factory trim. Install was simple. Took about ten minutes. My only gripe is that I can’t understand why the regulator cover is metal while the cooler cover is plastic. One would think it should be the other way around.

Just a guess but it seems that metal would retain heat longer thus reducing the efficiency of the oil "cooler."
