I put a Tri-bar fascia on my old 2009 bike, and did a custom wiring job to get it working. The stock HD LED's in there were basically useless. You could not see them unless you were laying on the ground (I had Run/Brake lights).
I replaced it with the CD unit and a flasher. Then, everyone could see them just fine.
I was washing the bike after my Alaska trip, and noticed that some of the Tri-Bar LED's were not lit. So, at 10:00 pm, I take a picture of it, go to the CD web site, hit their support request link and post the picture, along with all the information they requested. Mind you, this was 10:00 pm CDT.
At 7:00 am the next morning, I go downstairs to work (I work from home), open my home email account and there is a message from CD Support indicating that my replacement Tri-Bar light was on order, should be there in two days!
I do not have the 2009 any longer, traded for a 2018 FLTRU (after 150,000 miles). It does not have a Tri-Bar, but a cheapo pieced of chromed plastic on the fender tip (which I replaced with a CD Light, easy bolt on). If it had a Tri-Bar, and CD came out with ProBEAM replacement, I would highly recommend getting it (I would replace mine if I had it). I have their ProBEAM Fillerz and Taillight and they certainly get your attention. I just ordered their new ProBEAM front turn signals, in Amber.
In theory, Theory and Reality are the same. In reality, they are different.
