I’m gunna have to send you a bill @crazy4ink!

Thanks to how good your ride looks with that air ride and fat front tire I couldn’t fight it any longer and ordered it all today. And, since air ride just doesn’t seem to be air ride without the center stand, I had to order a new exhaust too. New parts will be showing up throughout the next couple of weeks:

  1. Native Customs Fat Tire Kit (OG Fender)
  2. RC Illusion 18 x 5.5 wheel and Pirelli tire
  3. Single side 13” rotor and 6 piston HHI caliper
  4. Dirty Air front and rear air ride (with safety valve & dual digital gauge)
  5. MRI Center Stand
  6. S&S Sidewinder 2 into 1 exhaust

It’ll be a couple of weeks before I get it all (wheel could take a couple of weeks), another week or so before I’ll find time to put it all together, then I’ll have to decide whether to wait for my painter to be able to paint it all now, or tear it back down this winter (still great riding in NC this time of year), but I’m very excited to get it all setup.

Coincidently, I guess I’ll be posting some parts for sale soon... RCX Tormentor Headers & Torx mufflers; 2018 Talon 19” wheel, rotors and tire; 19” wrap around front fender; and two orange powder coated calipers. Debating on selling my stock black folk lowers and sliders or sending to Native for core exchange refund. I’ll get all those parts listed for sale with pictures when I take them off.

Now this makes me grin. I just love enablers - my wallet, not so much.

You're going to have an even more bitchin scoot, looking forward to the pics.

You’re welcome. Lol. That’s quite the list and I can’t wait to see the progress and the finished product! Let me know if you have any questions about install or maybe even need a hand

I appreciate that man! You would certainly be my first choice if I needed to outsource some labor. What part of the country are you in? I’m in Charlotte NC.

Map app says that’s only 334 miles away and estimates 5 hours. I’ll have to ride up in the Spring to say hello and check out your ride in person.

two things I stopped doing . Using others as an excuse, and justifying anything. I did it because I wanted to and that is that. The fat front tire looks great IMO.

On another recommendation; I would contact CPV in Wisconsin and see what they say about painting the new fender to match. They paint the CVOs so they have all the correct codes/formulas. Let me know if you want their phone number. I had them paint my fender when I did my fat tire and it was dead nuts on color wise with zero fisheyes or defects when I got it back.

Mine isn’t a CVO bro, but I’ll take that as a compliment... I designed the paint scheme and I have a buddy that paints them for me. I tear it down, wet sand and prep, then I have a plotter marching to cut out the paint stencils. I take it over to his shop and he sprays the colors and clear for me. The base silver is a Honda car color and the top color we fade to is the same color as my truck. I think it’s Rams Granite. I’ve already got to have him paint the lowers and speaker lids that I put on after we painted her last year, and now the new fender and fork lowers/sliders.

And, thank you @SteadyEddie and @Smokey! I appreciate the feedback, and I will definitely keep this thread updated. Just going to be a few weeks before I get it all together, then probably a few more before I tear it down for paint.

BlueJob, you have a badass ride and I’m thinking to myself, how could this bike get any better. Well, seems you’ve figured out how to do just that and I’m excited to see pictures of it when finished. Keep us posted on the progress and enjoy putting it all together.

I’ve got the fat tire kit installed, the front and rear air ride installed and wired up, as well as the center stand. All the painted parts are wet sanded and ready for paint. The holidays will slow progress, but I hope to have her back together and ready for a test ride and some fully assembled pics just after the New Year.

Here’s some pics of the journey so far.
