Just purchased a new 2020 RGS a couple of weeks ago. It's barracuda silver denim and gloss black. But the kickstand is chrome. I want a gloss black one. Found one on drag specialities. But sold out. Any info on one would be great.
Thanks.

I have seen the HD one on their sight. A bit expensive. Lol
I do have a flat black powder coated one on my SG, I might just switch them out until I find one. Or get the stock one gloss black powder coated. I don't understand why there are no gloss black kickstands online. ?
Thanks for the info. I appreciate it all.

My guess....the powder doesn't hold up very well. I thought when the Road King Special in the configuration it is now came out in 2017 it had a black jiffy stand on it.

When I got my bike home I though to myself damn they put the wrong jiffy stand on my shit. Then I realized they were all chrome and figured the black just wasn't holding up.

For 2017+ there is a Harley part number for the Jiffy Stand and mount. You have to put in a CVO VIN number and then you can pull them up since the CVO RG's came with them. I got the price and it was a few hundred $$ for the stand and mount. Like someone else suggested, I'm planning on just taking off several items and having them powder coated. I have been actually using Plati-Dip and making my things black pretty well...but the color black isn't "black". Its more of a REALLY dark grey and it contrasts when you have it on the bike and the black bike is clean ;-).. Actually, I think I'll go searching out the powder coater locally right now. Time to make this happen.

Look up D-Tech Coatings. They do an exchange on Harley stuff but they send you the powdered stuff first and then refund a core once you send yours back. I’ve done a lot of business with them and have never been disappointed.

Great site. Thanks for sharing that. They are out of stock on 2020 jiffy stands and mounting bracket right now. But yes they got a lot of powder coated gloss black stuff readily available.

I just had a local powder coater give me a price of $100ish to do a gloss black on: Kickstand, kickstand mount, axle nut covers, derby cover, horn bracket, and shift linkage. I'm taking all that in to see how it comes out and I'll post results. Oh, there is also that little bracket that holds on the exhaust...I might throw that in.

My buddy's CVO has a black jiffy stand, black shift rod and my Special is all Black but both items are Chrome? I did what Phrogg said and checked the #'s at Harley and they were ridiculous. The Dennis Kirk ones sound like a good deal, but then that low of a price worries me about quality?

Looking at the kickstands, I see no reason why the old kickstand would not work on an M8. Looks like the only thing that changed is the mount has a threaded hole instead of a nut on the other side of the hole. To be clear, the earlier ones used a nut on one of the mounting holes and the M8 does not.

Still going powder coat route, but I think it’s safe to purchase the older part number and replace it.

Just got mine back from powder coat yesterday! And many other parts that I could easily remove and also have coated. Then it turned out the guy also has a ceracoat setup so I had the bolts all ceracoated black at the same time! Going to start taking more bolts off and doing the same throughout.
