Tour pak lighting

Not sure where to post this, but I was wondering why the Roadglide Ultra doesn't have the same lights on the tourpak like the Ultra Classics ? The Roadglide is a touring model so I don't know why it isn't equipped. Only thing I can figure is HD wants to sell you a kit to install them. I was looking on HD's part site and wow 499.00. Reason I asked is that my wife was riding behind me on her bike and mentioned that the single brake light is difficult to see at times.

because the ultra classic is a geezer glide and is way less cool than any roadglide, ultra, custom or cvo

I understand the concept of reality, but find it too confining for a way of life.

Well I guess I'm an 'ole Geezer as I have the tour pack lights along with the triple bag lights, although this was the set up when I bought it

It bothers me a great deal as well that the light was not included on my RGU and that even though lshd1.com sells it for $399 I would like to paint it to match and I don't know what they don't make it painted already. I don't even know if anyone could even paint such a small area around.

When you installed the BAL was it plug and play or did you need a converter or module for the led?
Thanks.
