New England does not appear to be too carry friendly?

Different in every state in NE, Vermont no permit necessary , Maine you can carry open but not recommend, NH CWP is easy to obtain now the other states like Mass, CT, RI and NY are part of mother Russia with Obama as their president are NOT friendly. Make sure is in a box, locked and unloaded while traveling on those states.

Don't forget about knife rules as well. CT can't be longer than 4" or double sided, or spring loaded.

Gun has to be concealed and takes awhile to get your permit. Not positive on NY and MA but have heard it needs to be unloaded, in a locked box.

locked hardbags(saddlebags) don't count unless it's the only thing in there + the ammo has to be separate, camping rules apply in most states
