Condensation in instruments?

I took out my '09 RG today from an unheated garage/shed and noticed that condensation had developed on the inside of my fuel and air temp gauges. It eventually resolved after riding in 75 degree weather for about an hour.

Is this common? Or is this potentially an (extended) warranty issue?

Any input appreciated....

YUP 100 Percent common, happens all the time. I even questioned the dealer when it first happened, now I am just used to it.

It is common. Why Harley hasn't been able to correct this problem I don't know. My 02' Ultra did it, my 04' Ultra did it , and now my 09' RG does it. Happens riding in the rain or when exposed to moisture. Goes away after being exposed to dry weather.

Welcome to the HD ride. My experience with HDs is that they have always had that problem, the problem is easily solved but hasn't been, so its liklely that the issue won't be solved any time soon.

I must be lucky. So far I have not had that problem. Could be it's because mine is in an unheated garage but I've also not seen in after riding in the rain or washing it.

Be careful, STUPID doesnít care what direction it comes at you from!!!
