noise on top end

Ive had a noise on the topend of my motor every since i put the stage 4 kit on with Woods 777 cams and Woods lifters with Fuel moto pushrods. It seemed as if the pushrods werent tight enough. Well the dealer just replaced the head gaskets on the motor Friday. Now the bike has a tiney sound on the topend at around 2000 rpms. I made a video where its noticeable but please disregard the actual video and pay attention to the sound. What you think it is? Thanks in advance

Why did the dealer replace the head gaskets??
It is hard to tell what would cause the noise in the video.
There are only a few things that could make noise on the top end, either the rockers are hitting the rocker covers or the pushrods are hitting the pushrod tubes. You can pull the rocker covers and see if there is signs of the rockers making contact with the rocker covers and you would have to pull the pushrods and check for contact too.
If the rockers are hitting the rocker covers than you can grind down the contact points a bit and that would take care of the problem. Smaller diameter pushrods would take care of the pushrod contact.
The steeper ramps and high lift of the TW777 cam along with the stronger valve springs in the heads will create more top end noise than a stock engine will.

The head gaskets got replaced cause one was leaking. Im no dummy on motors but this is a weird sound. Its a real tiney sounds. not a clearance sounds or lifter noise as i know what those sound like.

Well in my experiences the head gaskets don't just blow or leak for no reason.
I have had 2 blown head gaskets so far and both are a direct result of pulled cylinder studs.
When a head gasket starts to leak the bike will run and it will seem to run OK but there will be a slight tinny noise and the noise will get worse under load.
I hope pulled cylinder studs are not your problem but mine started pulling when I had a stage IV build in the bike.

I am fully aware of the situation you had. Im not sure why the head gasket blew but i really dont care as i was only without the bike for a few hours as the dealer fixed it under warranty and it didnt cost me a dime. I actually blame the Thundermax for it cause it pings under some hard acceleration as i need to go and remove some timing.

A leaking head gasket will sound like the bike is pinging during hard acceleration (1/2 trottle or above in most cases)and you will remove the timing and the pinging will still be there and than you remove more timing and more timing etc, etc. Been there done that.
If the head gasket leaks and it already sounds like it is you should look into the cylinder studs. Good Luck!!

I understand your concern with the cylinder studs as you had this issue. I search alot of forums and you are one of the only people i have read about with issues on these. They just replaced the gaskets friday and this noise is at 2000 rpms barely rolling so its not the studs.

Found the problem. It was my cylinder head cover. It was loose and rattling around at that certain RPM.
