Battery going dead

Ok, i have a 2006 Glide, bought a new MILWAUKEE TWIN MTX30L BATTERY from J&P last may, and now i am having issues with the battery draining after a few days, or a cold night. My charging system checks out fine, 14.0 V at idle, did a parasitic draw test, turned out good, 2.07 mA, load test on the battery turned out fine. I am running out of ideas. Any suggestions??? Am i having issues because it is a non Harley battery?? Do i need to run a ground wire from the battery directy to the frame??? All help is very appreciated !!!

There should already be a ground to frame from the battery but I wouldn't think that would be your problem.
I am assuming that all the battery connections are clean and tight so I would guess that the battery is just going bad for some reason. Sometimes some batteries just don't last as long as others, try taking the battery down and have it load tested.
If the battery is the problem you should check out http://www.batteymart.com they have great prices on batteries.

Like Mark said, have the battery load checked. If that checks out good, check all connections are tight and clean. If thats all good, look toward the voltage regulator.

I had one of my batteries load tested and it showed 14v but ended up having a bad cell. Put a new battery in and everything was good.

Make sure the connections for the battery are clean and tight. I had one where the ground cable loosened up at the frame mounting point and it caused all kinds of havoc.

How long between rides? More than a week it should have a tender, batteries can and do discharge just sitting there. I like the NOCO tenders I have here for about half the price of an official HD one.

They are all over eBay. I think I have the G1100 models for the bikes.

I never used a battery tender on my bike and I never had any problems starting the bike even if it sat for months with the security on. If your battery can't last a few days before going dead then there is a problem with the battery.
You will have parasitic draw on a battery anyways from the clock and security system but that draw is minimal and it shouldn't drain a battery in just a few days.
14 volts at a idle is good and your charging system is working fine but you should keep a eye on the voltmeter for voltage drops or spikes which would indicate a problem.

In the last few weeks, it sat no longer then two days at a time, and i do have a tender for it otherwise.
