oh where oh where does this little plug go??

Not sure if I am putting this where it belongs, but here it is. 2001 Road Glide here. I have the front fairing off and I' not sure where the little doodad is at to hang this connector on?? Suxs getting old!!! Any help is appreciated folks!

forgot the pic, sorry. Gray plug, left side when looking from the front of the fairing. Can't find the slot it hangs on.

Moved ya over to the troubleshooting thread where you might get a better response.

FWIW, my '10 has two such connectors that don't attach to anything. They just hang around with all of the other loose parts in the fairing. Hasn't seemed to be a problem over the years.

What if the Hokey-Pokey really is what it's all about?

Should be up on that side of your stereo. You should have another harness very similar hanging on the right side. I believe I see it in the pic.

I'll need to look again

I can't find the nubbin or whatever you would call it to slide that connector on to. I do see the other connector there and it is locked in place on a nubbin. The radio on that right side has a big threaded bolt sticking out of it with nothing on it.
