2011 RG CVO Zumo 660 Phone Intergration

OK I need some help. On my past bike I had a Zumo 550 and had it hard wired into the bikes radio/communication system with J&M wiring harnesses. This enabled me to blue tooth my phone to the Zumo and thus receive phone calls. All I had to do was turn a switch on that was mounted to my handlebar and the intercom and CB were cut out and I could just talk though my headset. It was great, the incoming call would show up on the Zumo identifying who was calling and ring in my headset. Also was able to see my phone book on the Zumo.
OK for the question I have just purchase the new 2011 Road Glide Ultra CVO and it came with a Zumo 660 already mounted and intergraded into the radio/communication system. I can receive the Zumo driving instructions though the headset but unable to received phone calls. I have talked to the dealer and they have contacted HD tech support and HD doesn’t have any type of module or add on harness that enables this feature. Also contacted J&M and they don’t have anything for this bike set up a present. Is there anyone that knows of any other resource that my have the needed wiring harness or expertise to help me in this matter.

Zumo is bluetooth pairing with phone and just like icufltrn, I can see all my phone data and recieve calls but can't hear it though the headset. I have had the dealership contact moco and didn't get any help there. Have contacted Gramin and they say it should be coming though unless moco did something with the mounts and wiring harness to stop it. Looking at the supplement shop manual it states that it should come though the headset. When I get home from overseas I'm going to get with dealer and see what can be done. May try and find someone with a Zumo 660 that was purchased outside HD and is working properly and see if it works on my bike and if my HD Zumo will work on theirs.

check out this web page: http://www.hdbomm.com/ I think this will work for you. I had it on my "07 Ultra with a Zumo550 and it made it all work thru my head set, show up on my gps screen who was calling, phone book, etc. Intend to use it on my new '11 Road Glide Ultra also. It requires power to the "BOM", then plug into the GPS, everything will work bluetooth then.

Sometimes you need to do a software update for the phone and the Zumo. If it is an HD unit then you can do the Road Tech update with Garmin.com process and then the phone should lnk with the GPS and you should have bluetooth ability.
If you have a non HD unit, just a Garmin Zumo, there is an issue with HD software and the Garmin units not working with the HD Audio system. HD Priorty software is the issue.

fltreagle, I'm ok with the bluetooth connection from my phone to the 660 all works ok. The problem is that I can't hear the phone thru the bikes hard wire audio. I can hear the gps commands but not the phone.

So the question becomes what is blocking that connection? If you have a Garmin Zumo not an HD Road Tech ( they are both made by Garmin, but HD has brand specific software in it) than I would look at what you have for the audio out from the Zumo? You know the 2.5 jack on the Zumo setup? Are you using the 7 pin Harley headset connection If so than there is a connection issue between the Zumo and the HD headset because the HD headset doesn't have an interface with the audio out for bluetooth on the Zumo, that is the issue as I understand it. Try calling Garmin 1-800-800-1020 and ask for the zumo guys, maybe they have an answer, or the HD guys, since it is their system that isn't working.
