Rebuilt transmissions

Hello I hope someone can help me with this, I replaced all seals and bearing on the outer trans behind the primary twice now on my 04 RG, I'm not sure have to look into it but just trying to get info just in case, if I have to does anyone know someone that they can recommend that's rebuilds Harley trans so I can see what the price on doing so, I can't afford a new one since I have 3 kinds in college and other family issue. So if I have to go with a used one or a rebuilt one that's where I'm heading to m. Ok any info will be great.

If you're interested, I have the trans that came out of my 06 RoadGlide. 12,000 miles on it and in perfect condition. Only pulled it out to put in a Baker DD6 speed. Cheapest one I see on eBay is about $350, I'll take $300 shipped to you.
At least you have options.

Let me know if you're interested.

Re build? Or fix whats making it leak? If money is tight, fixing the leaks is prolly the way to go. Long as nothing else is in need of repair. Most common leak is when the inner primary race walks into the main shaft seal. There is an improved race to fix that. After that its shifter and drive gear seals. Most of what I see on repeat leaks is improperly installed seals. Especially the main drive gear seals. You beat them in with a big socket and hammer and they are going to have issues. It takes the correct tools to set them at the proper depth and perpendicular to the shafts. The tool squares up the seal, not the case bore. And sometimes its just a worn out sprocket spacer that shouldn't have been reused.

What it costs depends on what it needs. First step is to inspect it. Bearings and seals and pawl upgrade to start, around $450 for a bench job. Next most failed part is the main shaft, another $250. If it has false neutrals, it can run a lot more. Just pushing the seals in on one that's already open is like a 2-3 beer job. You just need to find someone with the tools close by.
