Not sure if it impacts pre-Rushmore bikes, but I recall reading here and over at HD that some of the CVO TGS harnesses were pinned incorrectly. I don't recall exactly whether the wire/pin locations were mixed up, or whether it was an issue with male/female connectors. It might be worth looking into, to ensure that each wire in the TGS corresponds to the correct wire in the bike harness. Also double check each of the pin receptacles to make sure that they are fully seated into the plug ends and making good contact with each.
