Tgs

I just installed new tgs on 11 rgb custom. Used the cvo tgs per the guy at harley to fit my 14inch bars. Will fire but still seems like it's in limp mode there is no throttle power what So ever. But will rev when the throttle body flapper is pushed in. HELP. TIA

Check your wiring. If all worked before, then well you know.

My guess would be the tgs plug came apart inside the bars. Tape that thing tightly when you redo it.

CVO tgs doesn't have the green plug. At least the last one I bought.

Not sure if it impacts pre-Rushmore bikes, but I recall reading here and over at HD that some of the CVO TGS harnesses were pinned incorrectly. I don't recall exactly whether the wire/pin locations were mixed up, or whether it was an issue with male/female connectors. It might be worth looking into, to ensure that each wire in the TGS corresponds to the correct wire in the bike harness. Also double check each of the pin receptacles to make sure that they are fully seated into the plug ends and making good contact with each.

Ok, thanks for the info. Didn't realize that. Guess that's why they recommended it.
