USB Charging Mount/System

Has anyone installed a dedicated USB charging plug? Thinking of adding one to the right side fairing opposite the cigarette lighter.

Found this at FBI but the price seems a bit high at $170

Check this out, it plugs in to a factory installed plug under the seat. Easy to install and works like a charm. I use mine for GPS and iPhone.

Ive got a USB in my right glove box as well as a 2nd power point. I keep my iPod plugged into the USB. I changed out the stock radio for an Alpine receiver and thats all I listen to.

Thanks gtp01. I like the $40 price and ease of installation of the TAPP product.

Tracy...do you remember whose USB and power point you used? Putting it inside the glove box makes more sense as this is where I keep my iPhone/music. A picture of your install would also be nice if you have one. Thank you - Bob

I installed a HD charging port in my tourpak. Got a dual USB charging plug and use it to keep my phone charged when I'm riding and can simultaneously charge my Ipad when I'm touring. It's a real handy accessory.
