Rushmore garage door

Wanted to add a garage door opener button where the CB button would be on my 16 RGU. Has anybody done this and remembers the button size or where they got it?

I just ended up with the old splice into the high beam wire and use my flash to pass to activate the relay to my soldered remote. It worked fine on the 2011 and does just as well on Cosmo. I thought the button inserted into the cb looked way cool but never got any input on where folks where finding the right diameter and depth.

What about just buying a cb button to put in its place and use the wires to solder to the remote ?

Garage
I went the totally easy way, purchased a key chain garage door opener and Velcro-ed it to the inside of my left glove box. I hit it as I enter my street and just ride right into the garage.

I just recently sold my house and unfortunately I had to give that little keychain remote to the new homeowner, I thought no biggie I'd get another one at Sears turns out they don't make that little one anymore. So I'm happy I have the Harley one. I do miss that little one......it was smaller than an alarm remote to a car too.

I have been using a home link from a ford visor tied into the high beam switch for years . I hope it will work on the M-8bike. Thanks Doc
