hydraulic clutch

I was cleaning my bike and noticed the fluid in clutch master cylinder looks a little cloudy compared to the brake master cylinder. I removed the cover and it is a little cloudy but still pretty transparent. Is this normal? This is on my 2016 RGU with 1000 miles

Yes its normal. I have changed the fluid in the 13 CVO several times as it becomes gray and murky after awhile. It seems to be a normal thing with the hydraulic clutches, although I am not able to tell you exactly why that is.

Could fluid breakdown be related to clutch greater pull resistance? These hydraulic clutch bikes do seem to require a strong left hand.

Coming from a '12 FLHX, the clutch lever is substantially harder. Compared to my '05 FXST, the hyd clutch on my '15 RG is easier. Don't really worry about it. Only gets annoying during really bad stop and go traffic.
