How to adjust neck bearing?

Hey I got a 2012 with a bad shake in the bars on deceleration is there a write up on how to adjust the neck bearings?

Check the fork swing but also whats the condition of your front tire? Seems like I always get a shimmy upon deceleration when my front tire tread is coming down to the wear limit.

Tire is almost brand new and the shake I get is pretty violent

Not a bad DIY. Donít forget to grease the neck bearing while at it.

Had the same issue on a Vmax. Brand new tires are man made and it is possible to get a bad one or have one go bad. Its gonna be either of the two. Headset or tire.

Iíd check tire alignment as well. Bad tire, badly aligned tires, or bad neck bearings. The neck bearings rarely go if greased regularly and you arenít pulling wheelies with hard landings.
