Rear cylinder Heat

Hey guys,
Just wondering if you have any excesses Heat off the Rear cylincer of your bike. I put the Dragula, Zippers and thundermax tuner on mu 13 RGU, with a Base Map from Drago's and that damn Back cylinder temp is very excesses. The Heat hits me right in the middle of my Hamstring. And it is Hot. It has been only 75 degree heat here in MN and I don't want to ride the bike.(Yeah that hot). So just looking for anymore Idea's. I thought with a Base tune and Auto Tuner I shouldn't have to pay $350.00 for a damn Dyno tune. Sorry to Vent, was going to try Thundermax tomorrow and see what they have to say. Anybody here in MN know of a good Tuner, or what Base Map are you running? I think I', at 274 Base Map.

I'm running a 10.5 compression 107 wih heads, cams, etc with a PC5 and auto tune. Mine is nowhere near hot. That being said, I put mine on a dyno for a good tune and set the auto tune from there. Personally, I don't think there is a replacement for a good dyno tune. Finding a good tuner can be tricky though......

Have you pulled your plugs? What color are they? That will probably tell the tale in a quick hurry! I'm betting they're burnt white!

I Have the same problem. I came to the conclusion that its just a hot as pipe. I've called Tmax & they advised that my map is correct & everything is working properly based on the data that was collected & sent to customer support. From "MY"personal experience, the Tmax is not user friendly & over rated. JMPO. BTW, I haven't talk to a local tuner that recommends Tmax.. But I don't know if that men's anything..

Are you running the 2-1 Dracula. Seems like a lot of folks don't like the heat that 2-1 pipes put out on the right leg.

I Am running the 2-1 Dragula. It sounds awesome. I to am having a hard time finding a tuner that actually supports the Thundermax in the twin cities. So far I call 3 Independed shops and they all seem to have different opionions as they sell different brands. So I have a riding buddy with 11 RGU with 2-1 Basanni and a SE tuner and that thing is nowhere near the heat I have. So I hope after I spend another 300.00 on a tune this beast settles down or there will be a Dragula up for sale.

Heat! I know! I am running a 120r with a thundermax and dragula.Heat was unreal. I talked to Frank, changed to the 3.0'' baffle and removed the doors on my lowers. Helped a lot. Waiting to see what its going to be on a 80 degree day. Are you running lowers? Remove the doors or the whole damn set.

2011 COOL BLUE PEARL FLTRX , 120R,

Removing the doors helped me, but I think its just how the pipe is. The way the rear header loops out from the rear cylinder, brings it closer to your leg. It comes out further then most 2-1, that why more heat is felt - coupled by it just being a hot ass pipe. JMO.
