Get a service manual, write down the dates and mileage when you perform the service, keep your receipts. YouÂ’ll have the satisfaction of knowing it was done right and you did it, much more economical, warranty still in effect.

What^^^he said.
I take mine back for the 1K, only to have them go over it and make sure there is nothing wrong from the factory. I do the 5, 10 , 15, and 20. At 25, I normally take it to a true technician at the Indy shop I have frequented for the past 20 years, (you know someone who has been to school and is a true tech, not just spent the night at a Holiday Inn or plays one on TV ) and let him go over it front to back.

Does aervive2 manual tell you what to check as in a check list of what to do and how to and what to look for and adjust ect. Just trying to cover ALL BASES.

Do your own. Save beaucoup $$$.
Costs about $85 in supplies, using top notch lubricants and filter, for the 1k service, $42 for the 5K.
Save your receipts. Check the torque on critical fasteners, especially the shift linkage.

I guess it depends on your dealership. I have never kept any of my receipts. Over 70,000 and never been questioned about who is doing the maintenance when I take the bike in for warranty work.

Most recent job was a month ago for a rebuild after the rear seal blew out and it dumped all the oil.
