Mustache engine guard

Question..I have a 19 Road Glide Special and am changing the engine guard to a smaller mustache type. The support that comes down from the fairing will not reach the new bar. Is it necessary and can it be removed without effecting the turn signal? Thanks

The Harley version attaches directly to frame.

It does not attach to the lower guard or the mustache guard. Look at the top bracket in the picture. It mounts the the original crash bar tab in the center of the frame. Then to the fairing. You need that bracket.

I think this would work for you. You do need to have supports. They also make brackets that allow you to change where the fairing sits. I would use there contact us page and send them an email.
